In this equation we are asked to multiply both the rational numbers -18/7 * -7/15
As the 7's are common we cut them out.
The equation now formed is 18/15 (note that -1*-18 is +18)
Both these numbers are divisible by 3.
So when simplified,the answer obtained is 6/5.
