Subject: Students Lacking Basic Moral Values
Dear Sir,
Through the esteemed column of your newspaper, I'd like to draw your attention towards students lacking basic moral values. I recently saw an elderly woman fall down on the stairs while taking some vegetables to home. The children there, were expected to help her. But, instead they made fun of the woman and insulted her. I rushed to help her. Not only this incident, I have witnessed many cases were children seem to lack moral values. They show indiscipline and are indecorous. Some children even talk rudely to their parents/elders/friends. I feel that parents should teach their kids. But, most of the time, even the teaching is of no use. I feel that life skills should be made compulsory in all schools as school is the first place where children get to learn the most. Hope this letter proves to be an eye-opener.
