i)An aqueous solution of sodium chloride is heated to dryness.

Crystals of sodium chloride will form

Ii) A mixture of iron filings and Sulphur is heated strongly

A red glow will spread through the mixture and a grey substance called iron (II) sulphide will form.

iii) A saturated solution of copper sulphate is allowed to evaporate

Blue crystals of hydrated copper (II) sulphate will form

iv) A beam of light is passed through a colloidal solution.

Scattering of light will take place. This is known as the Tyndall effect.

 v) A suspension is left undisturbed.

Particles will be seen to settle at the bottom of the container. This is called sedimentation.
