Soilage is a noun.  It is forage (hay) that is freshly cut and fed to farm animals.

Silage is a noun.  It is grass or other green food or dried hay compacted and stored in placed that don't let air get in, typically in a silo, without first being dried, and used as animal feed in the winter.
