The word Nepotism comes from Italian word nepotismo having roots from the Latin word nepos.In ancient times when the catholic popes and bishop had to take vows of chastity,they did not have any rightful heir to their position. So their position were given to their nephews.

Now,let me take my opinion towards Bollywood.I think there is nothing wrong with nepotism. Afterall it is the legacy of an actor,his name,his fame that he rightfully passes it to his loved ones.

It is upto the actors who owns the legacy to keep up the name of their family by giving the best performance in their own respective fields.

For instances, there are celebrities in Bollywood who mastered their way in doing good works.Some of them are-

Aamir Khan-It would be a sin not to mention him in the first place.Most of his movies are rated 8 and above in IMDB. Some of his movies include Taare Zameen Par,3 Idiots,Sarfarosh,Dangal,Lagaan,etc

Farhan Akhtar-Actor,Producer,Screenwriter,Singer,Lyricist,etc.There is nothing is nothing that this actor cant do in the industry.One of his best performances includes Bhag Milkha Bhag(actor),Rock On(singer,actor and lyricist),Don 2(director and producer).

Shahid Kapoor-Son of actor Pankaj Kapur.Shahid Kapoor gave us some of his best works in Haider,Ishq Vishk,Kaminey,Udta Punjab,etc

Alia Bhatt-Good looks is not only the factor to Bollywood but good acting is.She was launched by Karan Johar and made her debut in Student Of The Year.She proved her abilities by her performances in movies like Highway, Udta Punjab,2 States,Dear Zindagi.

And there are these celebs who are a disgrace to their family and sin on Bollywood-

Abhishek Bachchan-His only acclaimed movie was Guru.Other than that all of his movies did not receive good good performances despite the good storyline and script.
