Fire engines and fire extinguishers had been made mandatory to keep in shops selling fireworks. police posting is also implemented for safety.
Citizens should must not take any kind of highly inflammable material inside the markets and smoking should be prohibited.
Bursting of crackers is a huge environmental issue. bursting of crackers causes air pollution which occurs due to the smoke emitted by busting crackers, land pollution due to the chemicals used in making of crackers and water pollution also due to the chemicals used in making crackers. So busting of crackers is of no good as it wastes money and resources and causes environmental crisis.
We could make our neighbours and relatives aware about the consequences of bursting crackers and suggest them to adopt environmental friendly items such as earthen diyas, lanterns, etc.
