Letter to the editor of a newspaper complaining about the danger posed by stray animals

321,

Lucknow.

18 July, 2020.

The Editor,

Times of India,

Lucknow.

Subject - Complaint about stray animals.

Sir,

I am a resident of Hazratganj, Lucknow. There are a number of stray animals, who roam over here. They cause a problem to every passerby. Elderly and children are the most common target of dogs and oxen.

These animals are not vaccinated and hence possess harm to people. Also, dogs keep barking at night, making it difficult to take proper sleep.

Elders with heart problems get startled and face anxiety due to this. Therefore, it's an urgently needed problem which should be taken into consideration by the municipal corporation.

Few measures that can be taken are,

  • Vaccinate these animals.
  • Take them away to animal shelter homes.

I hope immediate action is taken.

Thank you,

Yours truly,

Kalpana.
