Have always loved writing and wanted to get my articles published, but
my favourite children's magazine rejected my first submission

Tried several other publishers but was turned down-did not lose
heart-asked my teachers for ways to improve my work-one of my
articles was finally selected for our school magazine

But over time my writing has improved-I now realize that there is a big
difference between my first articles and the ones I write now I have
learnt and practised several different techinques and styles-there is a
lot I still want to learn
Conclusion
I am a better writer now than I was before I still haven't been published
by my favourite magazine-but I think I am closer to my objective now
than I was before​
