Answer:

x+2y=3 ......(1)

4x+3y=2........(2)

Multiplying eq 1 by 4

x+2y=3

4(x+2y=3)

4x+8y=12........(3)

subtracting eq 2 from 3

4x+8y=12

- 4x+3y=2

(-) (-)

0+5y=10

5y=10

y= 10÷5

y=2......(5)

substitutingbthe value of 'y' in eq 1

x+2y=3

x+4=3

x=3-4

x= -1.......(6)

y=2 and x= -1 is the solution of the given equation
