HELLO!! there!!

here's ur answer :-

under minimum deviation condition light ray travels inside prism parallel to the base of the prism and the angle of incidence = angle of emergence :)

There is an angle of incidence at which the sum of the two deflections is a minimum .
The deviation angle at this point is called the "minimum deviation" .

on this angle of minimum deviation .........incident and exiting angle are identical .

IN rainbow too collection of rays of light at the minimum deviation angle .'

we can too calculate ...... Refractive index from minimum deviation .

nλ = (  \frac{sin A + Dλ }{2} ) / \frac{Sin A}{2 }

 n is the refractive index at a wavelength λ , D is the angle of minimum deviation, and A is the internal angle of the prism.

Angle of minimum deviation achieved when angle of incident = angle of emergence .

minimum deviation in glass slab is zero .
