Step-by-step explanation:

x -  \frac{1}{2}  = 3 \times \frac{1}{2}

x -  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{3}{2}

x =  \frac{3}{2}  +  \frac{1}{2}

x =  \frac{3 + 1}{2}

x =  \frac{4}{2}

x = 2

☯ AnSwEr :

As, we have to find the value of \sf{x - \frac{1}{2} = 3 \times \frac{1}{2}}

We wilp do this question BODMAS rule.

So, firstly we will sopve brackets but there are no brackets. After that we will Division.

\sf{\dashrightarrow x - \frac{1}{2} = 3 \times \frac{1}{2}} \\ \\ \sf{\dashrightarrow \frac{2x - 1}{2} = \frac{3}{2}} \\ \\ \bf{By \: cross \: multiplication}\\ \\ \sf{\dashrightarrow 2(2x - 1) = 2(3)}

Now, we will solve multiplication.

\sf{\dashrightarrow 4x - 2 = 6}

Now, we will solve addition and subtraction.

\sf{\dashrightarrow 4x = 6 + 2} \\ \\ \sf{\dashrightarrow 4x = 8} \\ \\ \bf{Deviding \: 4 \: by \: 8} \\ \\ \sf{\dashrightarrow x = 2} \\ \\ \Large{\implies{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{x = 2}}}}}
