Answer is ....x= -4.5
x+ 1/3 = (x+2/6)+3
(3x+1)/3=[(6x+2)÷6]+3
(3x+1)÷3= [(6x+2)+18]÷6
On Cross Multiplying both the denominators...
18x+6= 18x+60
6(x+1)=6(3x+10)
x+1= 3x+10
3x-x+10-1=0
2x+9=0
2x= -9
x= -4.5
