HERE'S YOUR ANSWER FRIEND,

GIVEN : x/1 + 5/6 = (-5/1)

HERE,

LHS = x/1 + 5/6

and,

RHS = (-5/1)

NOW,

SOLVE LHS

==> x/1 + 5/6

==> (6x + 5)/6

NOW,

RHS

= (-5/1)

= -5

NOW,

AGAIN EQUATE BOTH LHS AND RHS

WE HAVE,

(6x + 5)/6 = -5

==> (6x + 5) = -5 X 6

==> 6x + 5 = -30

==> 6x = - 30 - 5

==> 6x = -35

==> x = -35/6

AND IN THE DECIMALS

x = -5.833

IS THE REQUIRED ANSWER.
