therefore, 

2(-1)3 + a(-1)2 + 2(-1)b + 1 =0

-6 - 2a - 2b + 1 =0

- (6+2a+2b-1)=0

6+2a+2b-1=0

therefore,2a + 2b = -5

and 2a - 3b = 4

solve the equations and get the answer...
