Put x=-1 in x^m+1
We get,
(-1)^m+1
it is equal zero when m is odd so by factor law x+1 is factor of x^m+1 when m is odd

We get,
(-1)^m+1
it is equal zero when m is odd so by factor law x+1 is factor of x^m+1 when m is odd
