X+1/X=3 then find X^4+1/X^4

x+1/x=3
(x+1/x)^2=x^2+1/x^2+2
as we know that x+1/x = 3
(3)^2=x^2+1/x^2+2
9=x^2+1/x^2+2
x^2+1/x^2=9-2
x^2+1/x^2=7
now,
(x^2+1/x^2)^2=(x^2)^2+(1/x^2)^2+2
as we know the value of x^2+1/x^2=7
(7)^2=x^4+1/x^4+2
49=x^4+1/x^4+2
x^4+1/x^4=49-2
x^4+1/x^4=47
