3x - 2x / 6 = 9/20

x = 9×6/20 = 27/10 = 2.7

$\frac{5x - 2}{10} = \frac{4x + 3}{12}$

by cross multiplication

$12(5x - 2) = 10(4x + 3)$

$60x - 24 = 40x + 30$

$60x - 40x = 30 + 24$

$20x = 54$

$x = \frac{54}{20}$

$x = \frac{27}{10}$
