Answer :
- x² + 12/35x + 1/35 = - 1/5 or - 1/7
Given :
- x² + 12/35 x + 1/35
To find :
- Factors
Solution :
➟ x² + 12/35x + 1/35
➟ 35x² + 12x + 1 / 35 = 0
➟ 35x² + 12x + 1 = 0
➟ 35x² + 7x + 5x + 1 = 0
➟ 7x(5x + 1) + 1x(5x + 1) = 0
➟ (5x + 1) (7x + 1) = 0
➟ 5x + 1 = 0 or 7x + 1 = 0
➟ x = - 1/5 or x = - 1/7
Hence, x² + 12/35x + 1/35 = - 1/5 or - 1/7

Question :
x^2+12/35x + 1/35
Solution :
So as 12x/ 35 and 1/35 has a common denominator hence no for getting L.C.M
After this we need to split 12 by middle term factorisation
Now we need to factorise the terms on the L.H.S
Here in the second one nothing common means 1 will be written because 1 can be multiplied by all the no.s
After this 5x + 1 = 35 and 7x + 1 = 35
5x = 34
x = 6.8
7x = 34
x = 4.857
So the result can be either 6.8 or 4.857
