 \frac{x}{2}  +  \frac{2 }{x}  =  \frac{x}{8}  +  \frac{8}{x}
=>
 \frac{ {x}^{2}  + 4}{2x}  =  \frac{ {x}^{2}  + 64}{8x}
= >
 {x}^{2}  + 4 =  \frac{ {x}^{2}  + 64}{4}
=>
4 {x }^{2} + 16 =  {x}^{2}  + 64
=>
3 {x}^{2}  = 48
=>x=√16
=>x=±4

hope it'll help

devil85: in the third step... where the 2x is removed
karthikkattojup6118q: by dividing 8x with 2x in the denominators we get 4 in RHS denominator
karthikkattojup6118q: got it?
devil85: okkk
