 \\  \frac{x}{2}  +  \frac{2y}{3}  =  - 1  \\  \\taking  \:  \: lcm  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{3x + 4y}{6}  =  - 1 \\  \\  =  > 3x +4 y =  - 6 -  -  -  (1) \\
 \\ x -  \frac{y}{3}  = 3 \\  \\ taking \:  \: lcm \\  \\   =  > \frac{3x - y}{3}  = 3 \\  \\  =  > 3x - y = 9 -  -  - (2)

3x +4 y =  - 6 -  -  -  (1)  \\  \\ 3x - y = 9 -  -  - (2)

By Elimination method

3x +4 y =  - 6   \\   3x - y  \: =    \:  \:  \:  \:  \: 9  \\  ( - ).( + ).( - ) \\   -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  \\  \\  =  > 5y =  - 15 \\  \\  =  > y =  \frac{ - 15}{5}  \\  \\  =  > y =  - 3

From eq'n ( 1 )

3x + 4y  =  - 6 \\  \\  =  > 3 x + 4( - 3) =  - 6 \\  \\  =  > 3x - 12 =  - 6 \\  \\  =  > 3x =  - 6 + 12 \\  \\  =  > 3x = 6 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{6}{3}  \\  \\  =  > x = 2

Hence the value of x = 2 and y = - 3.

Verification

Equation: - ( 1 )

3x + 4y = - 6

Putting the value of x and y

 =  > 3(2) + 4( - 3)  =  - 6 \\  \\  =  > 6 - 12 =  - 6 \\  \\  =  >  - 6 =  - 6

LHS = RHS

Equation: - ( 2 )

3x - y = 9

Putting the value of x and y

 =  > 3(2) - ( - 3) = 9 \\  \\  =  > 6   + 3 = 9 \\  \\  =  > 9 = 9
LHS = RHS

Hence, it is verified ✔✔
