(X + 2 ) 3 = 2X(X )(2_1)

3X + 6 = 2X² (1)

2X² - 3X -6 =0

YES IT IS QUADRATIC

or

if question is

(X+2)³ = 2X (X²_1)

..........USING (a+b)³

X³+8+(3×X²×2 )+( 3×X ×2²) = 2X³-2X

X³+8 +6X² + 12X -2X³ +2X= 0

-X³ +6X² +14X +8= 0

HENCE IT IS NOT QUADRATIC BUT CUBIC EQUATION

 {(x + 2)}^{3} = 2x( {x}^{2} - 1) \\ {x}^{3} + 8 + 6 {x}^{2} + 12x = 2 {x}^{3} - 2x \\ x {}^{3} - 2 {x}^{3} + 6 {x}^{2} + 12x + 2x + 8 = 0 \\ - {x}^{3} + 6{x}^{2} + 14x + 8 = 0

Hence, the given equation is not a quadratic equation as it has the term containing
