Solution:-

By Splitting the Middle Term Method!

=) x² - 4√2x + 6

=) x² - ( 3√2 + √2)x + 6

=) x² - 3√2x - √2x + 6

=) x ( x - 3√2) - √2 ( x - 3√2)

=) ( x -3√2) ( x - √2)

=) [ x = 3√2] and [ x = √2 ]

By Completing the Square Method!

=) x² - 4√2x + 6

=) x² - 4√2x = -6

=) x² - 4√2x + ( 2√2)² - ( 2√2)² = - 6

=) x² - 4√2x + ( 2√2)² = ( 2√2)² - 6

=) [ x - 2√2 ]² = 8 - 6

=) x - 2√2 = √2

=) x = 2√2 ± √2

For +√2

=) x = 2√2 + √2 = 3√2

For -√2

=) x = 2√2 - √2 = √2
