x^2-5x+7/2

To make the process easy, we Multiply 2 by the equation, getting,

(x^2-5x+7/2)×2

2x^2-10x+7

=> By Discriminant method,

D = B^2-4AC

=> (-10)^2 -4×2×7

=>100-56

=>44

√D = √44 = 2√11

x = -B ± √D/2A

x = 10±2√11/4

x =2(5±√11)/4

x =  \frac{5 +  \sqrt{11} }{2}

or  \frac{5 -  \sqrt{11} }{2}

Cheers!
