Given eq x²+bc+11=0

It is also given that the point (-1,8) lies on the graph of the equation.

(-1)²+b(8)+11=0

1+8b+11 =0

8b = -12

b= -12/8

b = -3/2

b = -1.5

  • It also given that the point (-1,8) lines on the graph of the equation.
  • (-1)² + b(8) + 11 = 0
  • 1+8b+11 = 0
  • 8b = -12
  • b = -12/8
  • b = -3/2
  • b = -1.6
