Multiply the equation from (-) So the new equation come will be...

x^2 -x - 6

Now by splitting the middle term

x^2 -3x +2x -6

x(x-3) 2(x-3)

(x-3) (x+2)

so zeroes of the polynomial arex = 3 and -2
