x=4
x=y+1
(1+y)²-y2-7=0
1+y2+2y-y2-7=0
y=3

x - y = 1 \\  x  {}^{2}  - y {  }^{2}  = 7 \\ (x - y)(x + y) = 7 \\ x + y = 7 \:  \\ on \: soving \: x = 4 \: and \: y = 3
