x/2+y=4/5 can be written as 2y+x=8/5-----(1)

x+y/2=7/10 can be written as 2x+y=7/5 ----------(2)

from (1) x=8/5-2y substitute in ---(2) we get 2(8/5-2y)+y=7/5 we get y=9/15 from this x =2/5
