equations :- x + 2y + 1 = 0

2x -3y - 12 = 0

x/{2 × (-12) - 1 × (-3)} = -y/{1 × (-12) - 1 × 2} = 1/{1 × (-3) - 2 × 2}

=> x/(-24 + 3) = -y/(-12 - 2) = 1/(-3 - 4)

=> x/-21 = -y/-14 = 1/-7

=> x = -21/-7 = 3 and y = 14/-7 = -2

hence, x = 3 and y = -2
