X+2y= -1

X = -(1+2y)

now putting value of X in 2x + 3y = 12

2(-1-2y)+ 3y = 12

= -2-4y + 3y = 12

= -4y +3y = 14

-y = 14

y = -14

now putting value of y

2x - 3×14 = 12

2x - 42 = 12

2x = 54

X = 27

ans X = 27 y = -14
