Answer:

Question

(x + 2y) {}^{3}  + (2x + y) {}^{3}

SOLUTION

First expand the term by using this identity

(a+b)³= a³ + b³ + 3ab(a+b)

(x+2y)³

=> x³ + (2y)³ + 3×x×2y(x+2y)

=> x³ + 4y³ + 6xy (x+2y)

=> x³ + 4y³ + 6x²y+12xy²

(2x+y)³

=> (2x)³+( y)³ + 3×2x×y(2x+y)

=> 4x³ + y³ + 6xy(2x+y)

=> 4x³ + y³ +12x²y + 6xy²

Now add the term

A/q,

(x+2y)³+(2x+y)³

=> (x³+4y³ + 6x²y+12xy²)+(4x³+y³+12x²y+6xy²)

=> 5x³+5y³+18x²y+18xy²

Hope it helps you
