Hey here is your answer

your question is :-

x+2y+5z =20

x-3y-4z =17

x+2y-z =2

Find value of x,y and z

your answer is

equation (1)

x + 2y + 5z = 20

x = 20 - ( 2y + 5z )

x = 20 - 2y - 5z -(1)

equation (2)

x - 3y - 4z = 17

by putting x = 20 - 2y - 5z in equation

20 - 2y - 5z - 3y - 4z = 17

20 - 5y - 9z = 17

20 - 17 = 5y + 9z

5y + 9z = 3

5y = 3 - 9z

y = (3 - 9z) / 5. -(2)

equation (3)

x + 2y - z = 2

putting x = 20 - 2y - 5z in equation

20 - 2y - 5z + 2y - z = 2

20 - 6z = 2

20 - 2 = 6z

6z = 18

z = 18/6

\bf{z \: = \: 3 }

Now , using (2) :-

y = (3 - 9z) / 5

y = (3 - 9 × 3) / 5

y = (3 - 27) / 5

y = -24 /5

\bf{y \: = \: -4.8 }

Now, using (1) :-

x = 20 - 2y - 5z

x = 20 - 2 × (-4.8) - 5 × 3

x = 20 + 9.6 - 15

\bf{x \: = \: 14.6 }

hope this helps you
