Answer:

x+2y+9=0

x+2y=-9

x=-9-2y

put in equation 2

3x+4y+17=0

3x+4y=-17

3x=-17-4y

x=-17-4y/3

putting value of x in 2nd equation we get,

y=2

Now we will put y in 1 equation

we get,

x=-5
