Step-by-step explanation:

Hi ,

x/3 + 1.5 - 0.12x = ( 0.5+x)/2

multiply each term with 6 , we get

6x/3 + 6×1.5-6×0.12x=6(0.5+x)/2

=> 2x + 9 - 0.72x = 3(0.5+x)

=> 1.28x + 9 = 1.5 + 3x

=> 9 - 1.5 = 3x - 1.28x

=> 7.5 = 1.72x

=> ( 75/10 ) =( 172/100 )x

=> ( 75 × 100)/( 10 × 172 ) = x

=> ( 75 × 10 )/172 = x

=> 375/86 = x

Therefore ,

x = 375/86

I hope this helps you.
