 \frac{x}{3}  + 1 =  \frac{x}{5}  \\  \frac{x + 3}{3}  =  \frac{x}{5}  \\ 5x + 15 = 3x \\ 2x  = - 15 \\ x =  \frac{ - 15}{2}

x/3 + 1 = x/5
= 5(x+1)=3x
= 5x+5=3x
= 5x-3x= -5
= 2x= -5
= x= -5/2

Or

= 1= x/5 - x/3
= 1= (x*3)-(x*5)/15
= 1= 3x-5x/15
= 1= -2x/15
= 15*1= -2x
= 15/-2 = x
