GIVEN
(x-3)÷3}+{(x-4)÷7} = {(2x-1)÷5}
(x-3) / 3}+{(x-4) / 7] = {(2x-1) / 5}
LCM 21 at LHS
7[(x-3)}+3{(x-4)} / 21= {(2x-1) / 5}
Cross multiply
35 (x - 3) + 15(x - 4) = 21 (2x - 1)
35x - 105 + 15x - 60 = 42x - 21
50x - 165 = 42x - 21
(50 - 42)x = - 21 + 165
8x = 144
x = 144 / 8
x = 18
Therefore, the value of x is 18
