Solution

x {}^{3} + 3x {}^{2} + 4x + 2 \\ = x {}^{3} + x {}^{2} + 2x {}^{2} + 2x + 2x + 2 \\ = x {}^{2} (x + 1) + 2x(x + 1) + 2(x + 1) \\ = (x + 1)(x {}^{2} + 2x + 2) \\

now ...

 \frac{x {}^{3} + 3x {}^{2} + 4x + 2}{x {}^{2} + + 2x + 2 } \\ = \frac{(x + 1)(x {}^{2} + 2x + 2)}{(x {}^{2} + 2x + 2) } \\ = (x + 1)

hope this helps you......yo
