 x -3/x = 2

(x^2 - 3)/x = 2

x^2 -3 = 2x

x^2 - 3 - 2x = 0

x^2 -2x -3

x^2 -(3-1)x - 3 =0

x^2 -3x + x - 3 = 0

x(x-3) + 1(x-3) = 0

(x+1)(x-3) = 0

Now,

x= -1  OR  x =3

 i hope this will help you
