Answer :
- For dividing x³ + x² - x + 2 by x + 2 let us first factorise x³ + x² - x + 2 it
- And then we will find the answer.
= x³ + x² - x + 2 by x + 2
= x³ + x² - x + 2 ÷ x + 2
- Factorising x³ + x² - x + 2
= x³ + x² - x + 2
= x³ + 2x² - x² - 2x + x + 2
= x² ( x + 2) - x (x + 2) +1 ( x + 2)
= (x + 2) ( x² - x + 1)
- Now after factorising it, divide it by x + 2
= (x + 2) ( x² - x + 1) ÷ (x + 2)
= ÷
= x² - x + 1
