Here is the asnwer

x/3 - x/4 = 14

By taking LCM on LHS

We get

  4x - 3x / 12 = 14

Subtract 4x - 3x and take 12 to RHS

Then,  x = 12×14

On multiplying 14 and 12

We get

    x = 168
