X/3=Y/2 ; 2X/3-Y/2=2

x/3=y/2 
x=3y/2---(1)
2x/3-y/2 = 2
2(3y/2)/3-y/2 = 2
3y/3-y/2 = 2
(6y-3y)/6 = 2
3y=12
y = 4-----(2)
Substituting (2) in (1) ,
x = 3(4)/2 = 6.
Therefore,x=6,y=4
