(x + 4/3) + (y - 1/5) = 5  -----------[ 1 ]

(x - 2/4) - (y - 3/6) = 1   -----------[ 2 ]

From equation [ 1 ]:

(x + 4/3) + (y - 1/5) = 5

x + 4/3 + y - 1/5 = 5

x + y = 5 - 4/3 + 1/5

x + y = 58/15-----------[ 3 ]

From equation [ 2 ]:

(x - 2/4) - (y - 3/6) = 1

x - 2/4 - y + 3/6 = 1

x - y = 1 + 2/4 - 3/6

x - y = 1     -----------[ 4 ]

Putting the 2 equations together:

x + y = 58/15-----------[ 3 ]

x - y = 1     -----------[ 4 ]

[ 3 ] + [ 4 ] :

2x = 58/15 + 1

2x = 73/15

x = 73/30

Find y:

Sub x = 73/30 into equation [ 3 ]

x + y = 58/15

73/30 + y = 58/15

y = 58/15 - 73/30

y  = 43/30

Answer : x = 73/30 , y  = 43/30
