(x+4)(x+10)

x² + (4+10)x + 4×10

x² + 14x + 40 .


Identify used :

(x+a)(x+b)

x² + (a+b)x+ ab

Hence the required Answer is

(x+4)(x+10) = x² + 14x + 40 .

Polynomials are those expressions which are having their index as a whole number .

here a = 4 and b = 10

by using identity : (x+a) (x+b) = x² + (a+b)x +ab

(x)² + (4+10)x + 4× 10

x² + 14x + 40 ......[answer]
