Question = (x+4)(x-4) = 9 Find value of x

_______________________________

☆Solution :-

★Using without identity :)

★Multiply both :-

=> x² - 16 = 9

=> x² - 16 + 9 = 0

=> x² - 25 = 0

★We can write this as (x - 5)(x +5)

=> (x+5)(x-5) = 0

=> x - 5 = 0

=> x = 5

______________________________________________________________

★Now using Identity :-

(x - 4)(x + 4) = 9

_______________________________

★Identity :-

(a + b)(a-b) = a² - b²

_______________________________

(x + 4)(x - 4) = 9

=> (x)² - (4)² = 9

=> x² - 16 = 9

=> x² - 25 = 0

=> x = √25

=> x = 5
