 \frac{x}{4}  +  \frac{x}{6}   = x - 7 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{x \times 3 + x \times 2}{12}  = x - 7 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{3x + 2x}{12}  = x - 7 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{5x}{12}  = x - 7 \\  \\  =  > 5x = 12x - 84 \\  \\  =  > 12x - 5x = 84 \\  \\  =  > 7x = 84 \\  \\  =  > x = 12

Answer:

X /4+X /6=x - 7

3x+2x/12=x-7

5x/12=x-7

5x=12(x-7)

5x=12x-84

5x-12x=-84

-7x=-84

Both sign are cancel

7x=84

X=84/7

X=12
