Hey user here is your answer....

---> Given equation - x-5/3=x-3/5

◆Firstly we have to do cross multiply

So,

◆ 5(x-5)=3(x-3)

◆5x-25=3x-9

◆5x-3x=-9+25

◆2x=16

◆x=16/2

◆x=8

( x - 5 ) / 3 = ( x - 3 ) / 5

cross multiply the equation.....

this implies......

5 * ( x - 5 ) = 3 * ( x - 3 )

open up the brackets

this implies.....

5x - 25 = 3x - 9

5x - 3x = -9 + 25

2x = 16

x = 16 / 2

this implies.....

x = 8
