◆Firstly we have to do cross multiply

So,

◆ 5(x-5)=3(x-3)

◆5x-25=3x-9

◆5x-3x=-9+25

◆2x=16

◆x=16/2

◆x=8

open up the brackets

this implies.....

5x - 25 = 3x - 9
