3x-4y=4 ........(2)

By subtracting (3) from (2)

3x-3x-4y-(-18y)=4-(-108)

-4y+18y=4+108

14y=112

Therefore, y=8

By putting the value of y in (1)

X-6y=-36

X-6×8=-36

X-48=-36

X=48-36

Therefore, x= 12

X=12

Y=8 Ans.
