Answer

Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{x}{7}  +  \frac{y}{3}  = 5

3x + 7y -105 = 0

3x + 7y = 105............(1)

 \frac{x}{2}  -  \frac{y}{9}  = 6

9x - 2y  - 18 \times 6 = 0

9x - 2y - 108 = 0

9x - 2y = 108............(2)

Now solve both equations by substitution method or linear equations :

3x + 7y = 105........(1)

9x - 2y = 108..........(2)

Multiply in equations (1) by 3

u get the new equation

9x + 21y = 315............(3)

Now,solve this equation by substitution method or by linear equation

9x + 21y = 315

9x - 2y = 108

--------------------------------------

23y = 253

y =  \frac{253}{23}

y= 11

Now put this values in equation(1)

3x+7(11)=105

3x+77=105

3x=105-77

3x=28

x=28/3

x=7

Answer will be (x, y) =(11,7)
