Profit sharing ratio of x&y was 3:2.

Sol:-

Let the total shares=1

Therefore,

The share of x&y=1-1/5=4/5.

(1/5 is z share)

So,

Share of x after z admission=3/5x4/5=12/25

Share of y=2/5x4/5=8/5.

Therefore,

Share of x,y&z=

12/25: 8/25: 1/5

=12/25: 8/25: 1x5/5x5

X:Y:Z=12:8:5

[25 is common so it is eliminated].
