Answer:

x/5+11/1=1/5

x+55/5=1/5(taking LCM of 5&1)

x+55=1(denominator reduced from both sides)

x=1-55

x=-54

Answer:

-54

Step-by-step explanation:

  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \frac{x}{5} +  \frac{11}{1}    =  \frac{1}{5}

 =>   \frac{x}{5} =   \frac{1}{5}  -  \frac{11}{1}

 =>  \frac{x}{5}   =  \frac{1 - 55}{5}

 =  >  \frac{x}{5}  =  \frac{ - 54}{5}

 =  > 5x =  - 270

 =  > x =   \frac{ - 270}{5}

  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: =   - 54
