x can do a piece of work in 20 days.
one day work of x=1/20

Y can do a piece of work in 10 days.
One day work of y=1/10

(X+Y)'s one day work=
[
  = >  \frac{1}{20}  +  \frac{1}{10}  \\  =  >  \frac{1 + 2}{20}  \\  =  >  \frac{3}{20}

They worked for 6 day ,so the work done in these 6 days=
 =  >  \frac{3}{20}  \times 6 \\  =  >  \frac{9}{10}
So,
Remain work=
 =  > 1 -  \frac{9}{10}  \\  =  >  \frac{10 - 9}{10}  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{10}
Therefore,the remain work done by Y in
 =  >  \frac{1}{10}  \div  \frac{1}{10 }  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{10}  \times  \frac{1}{10}  \\  =  > 1
Hence,the remine work done by Y in 1 days.
